Delayed post, but I’m bored.
Mozilla now holds a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web.

I’m such a nerd. Sadly, I still live at home. This software can be useful for two reasons.
1) You have a smartphone with a camera and can’t afford a webcam.
2) You live at home and your parents don’t approve of webcams, but don’t mind you connecting your phone to the pc.
I, sadly, fall in the second category. So, I downloaded Webcamera Plus ( mininova .torrent link ) and can now use my innocent little blackjack as a webcam. If a dissapprover comes in, I am simply syncing my phone contacts.
HA! Yep. Ima dork. Have fun!
Wtf if up with Japanese misspelling English?

I’ve always been annoyed that regardless of what you did, you could not hide the tab bar in Firefox. You could hide what they say using Page Title Eraser addon. I stumbled across this addon earlier today. This addon hides the tab bar when viewing pages, but when you hover over where the bar should be, it pops back up. It’s simple, but I like it.

Hey! I got a new webcam. It’s an HP Deluxe Webcam. It has HD video. It can take up to 8mp still shots. The camera itself is an inch high, with a base that sits on a desk, or clips to your monitor. It has auto focus, and the included software will allow you to use a zoom, add video effects(such as emboss, raindrops, blur, negative…), and has an auto face follow feature, which keeps you in the center of the picture. I really like it. It was a little expensive, but in my opinion, it was worth the $58.

A few weeks ago Microsoft released XNA 3.0 CTP, which allows Zune owners to develop and deploy their own games on the Zune device itself. A forum member, runtohell121, explains in this thread how to install games on your Zune. You can download tons of games and applications here, where developers can submit their games. We already have an impressive collection of classic games, like Tetris and Bejeweled, as well as applications like a Calculator and a few clocks. This special forum for Zune games is undoubtedly the fastest growing forum ZuneBoards have ever encountered. Head on over to see what the big buzz is about!
