OK everyone, I know I haven’t been active on here, but finals are over with now, so I am back.
I cooked up something, it’s a PHP emailer. With this you can send anonymous emails to any email address. We don’t ‘brand’ our emails, so the message they get, is exactly what you send, and nothing more.
The messages are sent from ‘anonymous@psidude.com’ … this is to keep spam filters from filtering emails that come from servers that didn’t actually send it. If you want me to change this, leave a comment.
psidude.com/mailer/
have fun
this has also been added to the ‘tools’ at the top of the screen.
Someone sent me this. That chick Hayden Panettiere, off of some show?, is evidently a bit of a nerd. she apparently likes cold fusion. look at this photo:
OK, I need some input. I was thinking about adding a part to psidude.com that you could stream and watch movies on here. Of course, I wouldn’t be hosting ANYTHING that is copywritten, I would just ‘refer’ you to somewhere that does. Anyway, if I made a spot where you could watch all the latest movies online at for free, would you watch them?
OK, one tool is ready, I installed a cgi proxy (btw, new version that came out a few days ago, great improvements that most people don’t have yet). This proxy will allow you to log onto myspace, facebook and so on while at school, OR you can use it to be anonymous, both work for me, as long as you don’t do illegal things with it! please try to spread it, and let me know if there is anything that doesn’t work right as a comment, or email me psidude@psidude.com
http://psidude.com/unblock
The reason I am not calling it the psidude proxy is because some of the more “spiffy” filters will filter any url with the word ‘proxy’ or ‘myspace’ or… so on in it
Fuckin’ A.
I’m taking an online class at my college, so they stuck me in an online orientation.
…
Thing is, though. I already know how to do the shit.
It is so fucking boring. I’m in the class right now, and am twenty steps beyond what the woman is talking about.
….
Hope you are not as fucking bored as I am.
What’s up?! This is Joshua, A.K.A. theAntiVIRUS. Well, I’ll be posting stuff now…when I think of something.
I just recently tried something that’s new to me, it’s called Blogrush. If you haven’t noticed the new widget in my sidebar, you will see the Blogrush widget. It’s displaying links to other blog posts on different people’s blogs.
The whole thing works through your blogs rss feed, it doesn’t have to be a wordpress blog, as long as it has a rss feed. Every time you post, they pick up your posts title, and displays it on someone else’s blog. Every time your Blogrush’s widget is loaded *even if it is you loading it* that counts as a credit in your favor. For every credit you get, that’s how many times one of your posts will be linked to in someone else’s blog.
It’s a great program to start your blog with. You can sign up and get more info here. Happy blogging.
I just got home from watching the new movie, “The Golden Compass” which is the first book in the His Dark Materials series. The movie was great, but before I saw it I couldn’t avoid talking about the movie without hearing something about it promoting atheism. First off, everyone that has said something about it, has never seen the movie or read any of the His Dark Materials books, so what’s the deal? I stared reading the book, and I watched the movie, and I have not seen ANYTHING at all that I consider atheistic.
After all is said, the movie left a lot out that is in the book, but it is still a recommended.
Why do people love spaming my site?
OK, If I have been doing a good job, you shouldn’t even know this. But SOOO many people come to my site, trying to harvest email addresses, they try to spam, and I have even had people ATTEMPT to dos a certain website, using my website…..
scroll down to the bottom of this page, that’s a big number, isn’t it?
To anyone who has this type of problem, here are some tips to help stop spam/abuse (no, I am not talking about email spam)..
1. Join ProjectHoneyPot. This website, you can install a simple script that catches email harvesters, comment spammers, and even email spammers (I have one installed). Every IP address that it recordes is made PUBLICLY available. Then you can have a script like I do that blocks EVERYONE that is on that list. This is my 1st line of defense.
2. Bad Behavior. I Love this.. I am not sure what it all works for, but there is a version of bad behavior for word press, this is what you see at the bottom of the page (scroll down). This script analyzes where each and every visitor comes from, it checks what browser, and many other different factors and blocks all bots (except good ones, like google). This DRAMATICALLY reduces bandwidth..
3. My last line of defense against comment spam… Akismet. I am not saying that because it is my last line of defense, that is it least effective, because it is great. If, by chance, that a bot or someone gets past 1, or 2, there an extremely good chance they will not get past this. This checks every comment against a database that is always evolving to see if it is spam. If it passes, your comment makes the cut, and is posted.
BTW, all this happens in less than a second, pretty cool, eh?
Have questions about any of these techniques? Always feel free to email me psidude@psidude.com
